Monday trading on the U.S. stock market ended with a fairly significant increase of 1.6 percentage points. In the absence of significant news, expectations that the Fed will take a pause in further interest rate increases this week, and 96 percent of futures trading participants bet on it, as well as consistently good corporate reporting, participants actively began to close open short positions on the stock market. The dynamics of such closing was quite impressive, which allowed the volume of open position, for example, in futures on the S&P500 index, to move into the positive territory for the first time during the last year.
