The main U.S. stock indices in Thursday's stock trading showed quite an active growth, rising within 0.8 percent. This movement was provoked both by ambiguous data from the real estate market, which showed its unexpected weakness, and as a consequence became a signal that with further growth of the Fed's discount rate not everything is so clear; and with the factor of the end of the financial year and the possible closing of a number of short positions, which at the moment the market has accumulated a record number. As for the sectors, the Communications sector looked the strongest, the Utilities sector, on the contrary, was a clear outsider of the trades.
