The U.S. stock market started the new trading week with a rather quiet trading session, managing to add within 0.5 percentage points on the main stock indices. The participants focused on the reports of the largest companies and played out the reported and made plans for the new ones. Rising prices for major energy carriers also influenced the course of trading, pushing quotes of the Energy sector up. We can also note the shares of the Financial sector, which were also in high demand. Interest in the Technology and Communications sectors was not great, and they rather kept the market from growth.
