U.S. stock indices, except Dow Jones blue-chip index, continued upward movement adding more than 3 percentage points. The indexes are trying to consolidate on new heights, driven by good reports and a powerful wave of closing short positions. However, the index remains extremely volatile to corporate reports and any negative report can provoke the same dense downward correction.
