Having opened with the growth of more than 1 percentage point on the main indices, the US stock market lost all optimism by the end of the trading session, and only the technological NASDAQ managed to keep the positive territory, having closed with the growth of about one third of percent. Market participants were positive about the news of the raising of the U.S. government debt ceiling, but it seems they want to wait for the formalization of this decision and are in no hurry to make aggressive moves. The Technology and Real Estate sectors looked the strongest, while the Energy sector showed clear weakness.
