US stock indexes on Thursday continued upward movement on average volumes notwithstanding rather contradictory statistics, in particular the initial unemployment claims indicator released on Thursday, which didn't justify the investors' expectations. At the same time, the release of Q2 2022 corporate earnings reports has so far not been a major concern for investors, reassuring them against the most apocalyptic forecasts. The most interesting sectors in the trading were Information Technology, Healthcare and Consumer Goods. The Energy sector was the clear outsider.
