The U.S. stock market demonstrated an expectedly quiet trading on the last day of trading on the previous week. At the end of the financial year market participants were in no hurry to open new positions, which led the main U.S. stock indices to a multidirectional closing near the zero mark. However, it should be noted that the positive mood of the second half of last week remained in the market and in the short term the probability of the upward movement continuation is quite high.
