Market overview 2023-05-22

Monday's trading on the U.S. stock market had a mixed character with average volumes of transactions. If hi-tech Nasdaq managed to add about 0.5 percent by the end of trading, the broad market index S&P closed near zero, and the blue chips index Dow Jones went into negative territory within 0.5 percent. The Technology sector naturally became the trading favorite, while the Consumer sector showed clear weakness.
