Positive reports of the largest U.S. banks allowed the major stock exchanges to restore confidence. The indices opened with a significant gain and by the end of the trading session they managed to show a growth of more than 3 percent. The Financial and Real Estate sectors were the leaders, while the Energy sector slightly lagged behind the general mood.
