Market overview 2024-03-15

A fairly quiet Friday trading session led the major U.S. stock indices down within 0.95 percentage points. The Technology and Communications sectors dominated again, this time dragging the stock market down. There is a feeling that traders are giving these sectors all their attention and building their major positions in them. This "skew" in positions causes some concern and can initiate a sharp collapse of quotations when negative news comes to the sector.
