Market overview 2023-04-11

Another quiet day on the US stock market. In anticipation of the consumer inflation data the participants have taken a wait-and-see attitude and are not eager to increase the risk to either side. The data coming out today will most likely determine the Fed's stance for the next month or two, which will of course affect the dynamics of interest rates. Among the sectors, the Technology and Communications sectors were clearly weaker in recent trading.
