Tuesday's hesitant trading on the U.S. stock market was replaced by more active selling Wednesday, which resulted in a decline in major stock indices within one percentage point. The market was quite "unanimous" in its decline and only the Energy and Utilities sectors managed to show a slight growth. The participants remain in anticipation of macroeconomic news and in periods of calm prefer to fix profits in anticipation of the end of the financial year.
