The attempt to organize the corrective movement on the first trading day of the second quarter on the U.S. stock market failed. Participants continued to take a wait-and-see attitude, which was reflected in extremely weak volatility of the trading session on weak volumes. Participants' interest was noticeable in the Energy sector, where an unexpected decrease in production by OPEC + spurred participants to buy shares of oil companies in expectation of soon growth of their underlying asset, as well as in shares of Pharmaceutical companies, which look oversold in the current market phase.
