Boston-based security start-up Snyk raised $200 million in Series D funding round. The round was led by an American venture fund Addition with the participation of Snyk’s previous investors: Accel, Amity, Boldstart, Canaan, Coatue, GV, Salesforce Ventures, Stripes, Tiger Global and Trend Forward. Snyk raised a $450 million in the final round, expanding its valuation to $2.6 billion.
Snyk was granted unicorn status in January 2020 after raising $150 million in a Series C funding round led by investment company Stripes.
Snyk provides solutions to help organizations find and fix security issues in open source software, container images, Kubernetes applications, and infrastructure.
The company's clients include Google, Salesforce, Revolut, Attlassian, Red Hat, Docker, Rapid7, and Trend Micro.
Snyk was founded in 2015.
