Coupang, Inc. launches an IPO.

IPO of Coupang, Inc. (CPNG) will take place on March 10, 2021. Coupang is the largest e-commerce company in South Korea.

The company’s infrastructure: 
• Commercial network. The company has built the largest B2C logistics network compared to other e-commerce players in Korea. As of December 31, 2020 it had over 100 logistics centers in over 30 cities in over 25 square feet.
• Last mile delivery infrastructure. The company has the largest delivery vehicle fleet in Korea, with more than 15 000 drivers as of December 31, 2020, who use proprietary software and specially designed trucks to deliver goods around the neighborhood multiple times a day.
• Diversified supply chain. The company has build up an extensive suppliers and sellers network, which allows it to receive a wide variety of products keeping prices low for customers. The company offers millions of names of products in its own assortment, which requires significant sourcing experience from local and international suppliers. Coupang also purchases most of its products directly from suppliers, which results in better prices for its customers.

The listed bookrunners of the IPO are Goldman Sachs, Allen & Company, JPMorgan, BofA Securities, Citigroup, HSBC, Deutsche Bank Securities, UBS Investment Bank, Mizuho Securities and CLSA.
